Dragging my bags from the bus to my door was such an effort. It had hardly anything in it, but I was just so lethargic from the tour. Probably anaemic too, we never ate anything nourishing, just enough to keep us alive. People helped with my gear, my guitars and small amplifiers, and I hoped one specific person would stay behind.
He carried one of my guitars inside the door, and put it down.
"Um, thanks a lot! Everyone else has places to be. If you don't, do you want to stay here, for a bit?"

"Yeah I could stick around if you'd like." Dallon smiled at Brendon, very happy he had been asked to stay. "You look like crap, you go hone after this and sleep!"
Dallon felt a little like crap too. His carefree attitude had a major dent in it after the tour. With Brendon though he could smile freely.

"I am home, silly! How out of it are you?" Brendon laughed jokingly, patting Dallon on the back. He was also extremely confused, but obviously not as bad as Dallon. Tours were a killer of consciousness, the constant travel is what does it, the routines of unpacking, playing, and packing again.
"Need some coffee?"

"Very badly do I need coffee." he answered stumbling over his sentence. Dallon yawned and smiled at Brendon. The two had grown to be best of friends on the tour.

Brendon smiled back before disappearing into the kitchen, and returning with two mugs.
"You sound like you need it!" he giggled before gingerly taking a sip. He was happy to have Dallon with him, regardless of how tired they both were.

Dallon gulped down his coffee. He didn't like sounding like an idiot, on accident. "Nice place you have here," Dallon made small talk to avoid leaving. He had been by Brendon's side these past few months and was worried about leaving it.

Brendon smiled and took another sip. "Thanks."
It felt awkward, just the two of them. On tour, there were usually people always talking, there was no pressure to say anything. One on one, it was like you needed to learn social skills again. He struggled to find a topic, so he finished his coffee and put the cup on the table.

Dragging himself up from his chair, Brendon gestured to Dallon to follow.
"Warning though, it'll be a short tour, this place is small!"

"Geez, Dallon, this is Universal Studios not Disneyland!" he laughed before pulling Dallon into the spare room.
"Get it right!"
In the spare room, was really spare things. An extra bed and basic side table, but also, leaning against the opposite wall, 5 guitars and 2 microphone stands.

"I use it to record samples, or to jam in."
Brendon walked in and drifted his hands over his guitars, before leaping on to the previously neatly made bed. "Also, the bed is pretty freakin' fun to jump on."
He jumped and luckily avoided hitting his head, the ceiling being the perfect height to allow Brendon's height and a large leap.
